Description
Also known as Lover’s Beach, this isolated little beach, tucked beneath the cliffs at the end of a dirt road, is a nice quiet place to relax before and after your dive. There are no amenities here, so don’t forget some water and snacks. To get here by car, take the Weg Naar Bullenbaai and turn left down the narrow dirt road shortly before reaching Bullenbaai. The road ends in a small parking lot at the cliffs overlooking the beach. This site is suitable for all levels of divers and good for snorkeling as well. The most difficult part of this dive is getting safely in and out of the water. The trail heading down to the beach is steep, and the shallows near the beach contain some knee scraping boulders and coral heads. Snorkelers will enjoy the shallows here. Brain Coral, Cup Coral, and Elkhorn Coral grow among the rocks, with Blennies, Gobies, Lobster, and Parrotfish swimming among the formations. |
