Diving: For a long time the pristine reefs and abundant sea life surrounding Curaçao were a well kept secret. But the secret’s out! With year  around water temperatures of 79 – 83 degrees and visibility regularly exceeding 100 feet, this is a diver’s paradise with 81 dive locations. More than twenty local dive shops offer lessons, rental gear, and boat dives. Many great sites are accessible from shore!
Biking: The island offers some fantastic mountain biking in pristine and often deserted areas like Christoffel Park, Watamula, and San Pedro (to name a few). From technical biking to cruising the flats along the coastline, there’s something for everyone. Rental bikes and guided tours are readily available on the island. Don’t forget your water!

Horseback riding: Whether you’re an experienced rider or a novice, you’ll love the view of the island from horseback. A number of outfitters offer guided trips along remote stretches of coastline where you can take a break at isolated beaches, or you can venture inland across rugged terrain that even jeeps won’t attempt.
Windsurfing: Whether you’re an expert or just starting out, Curacao’s reliable 13 knot trade winds make it a sailors’ paradise. Take lessons and cruise the calm inner waters of the Spanish Water, or rent a board and play with the big kids out in the open ocean, just remember the golden rule: Have Fun!

Sailing: The water is always warm and the trade winds blow strong and true, offering fantastic sailing opportunities all year long. Whether you prefer to be a passenger on a luxury sailing yacht on a trip to Klein Curacao, or take lessons and sail your own catamaran along the stunning coastline, Curacao is the place to do it.

Hiking:  Hiking and nature trails are a wonderful way of connecting with nature. Experiencing Curaçao on foot gives visitors an impression of the diversity of the island. The trails are well suited to everyone's tastes; short easy walks, trails through the bush or even strenuous climbs. All one needs is water, a good pair of shoes and a hat!

Tennis: Enjoy a game of tennis in the cooler evening hours on a floodlit court. The courts are available for rental at the Hilton Hotel, Piscadera bay. 1 hour costs approx. Naf 10 and a racket and 3 balls costs Naf 3.

Snorkeling: With year around temperatures of 79 – 84 degrees and 100 foot visibility the norm, snorkelers can enjoy dozens of sites accessible from shore or boat. Whether you choose to snorkel the picturesque tugboat, one of the resorts’ official snorkel trails, or simply explore a protected stretch of underwater cliffs on your own, it’s hard to go wrong. See our fab snorkeling tours!
